Can I just throw away my old batteries?

No, laws require that all batteries, even basic alkaline ones, be recycled. We can do that for you – just bring them in.

Fluorescent bulbs

Fluorescent bulbs including CFLs (Compact Fluorescent bulbs) contain mercury and must be recycled.  We have a place we send old bulbs, so you can bring them in and we’ll recycle them for you.  We charge just our cost.  CFLs are 50¢ and fluorescent tubes are $1.00.
