If wear and tear and winter rains have left cracks and holes in your asphalt driveway, do-it-yourself repairs are not all that hard.
Black top mix (cold patch) is available in easy-to-handle 60 lb. bags. It is a matter of carefully cleaning out the loose debris and emptying the bag into the hole to over-full. Then thoroughly compact the new asphalt to grade level. The product is surprisingly durable if done over a solid cement base.
